Daniel Brühl will be part of the cast of the new Captain America's sequel

The German actor known for his roles at films such as, Good bye Lenin! (2003) and Inglourious Basterds (2009) will participate in the major Hollywood production.

Daniel Brühl will join the cast of Captain America : Civil War, becoming the third novelty in the Marvel Cinematic Universe after been confirmed the participation of Robert Downey,Jr., again on the role of the eccentric millionaire, Tony Stark/Iron Man and Chadwick Boseman , who will introduce the character Black Panther.

The choice was announced highlighting the " intense and subtle ' interpretations of the German actor of Spanish origin , but it was not yet disclosed which character Brühl will reprise. Variety said that certainly will be a villain who threaten the dominance of Dr. Strange , the great antagonist that also will make its debut in a Marvel movie . For the role of Strange, British actor, Benedict Cumberbatch is in talks. Cumberbatch and Brühl have worked together before on the film, The Fifth Estate (2013).

This will be the first big budget production of an Hollywood studio with the german actor, who became noted across the Atlantic thanks to Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds ( 2009), and especially Ron Howard's Rush ( 2013) , were Brühl interpreted the role of the former F1 pilot, Niki Lauda, a role that earned him several nominations for awards . In Europe , its reputation is greater since the huge success of Good bye Lenin ! ( 2003).

Chris Evans, Scarlett Johannson , Sebatian Stan and Samuel L. Jackson signed in and will return for the third installment of the Captain America film series, with Joe and Anthony Russon once again behind the cameras.

Captain America: Civil War is set for release on May 6, 2016.
