Shakespeare inspires George Lucas animated movie

George Lucas will produce an animated film by the title of, Strange Magic, and will be based on, A Midsummer Night's Dream, one of the comedies of the English playwright, William Shakespeare , and will be the result of a partnership between Touchstone Pictures and Lucasfilm (George Lucas's Studios).

The film will be written by David Berenbaum, Irene Mecchi and Gary Rydstrom , the latter also the director of it, and will count with the voices from actors like, Alan Cumming, Evan Rachel Wood and Maya Rudolph, Alfred Molina and others.

The story will not be limited to Shakespeare but also will join many songs and a host of other fantastic characters of the last six centuries , including fairies, elves , pixies and more.

The film is scheduled to be released on January 23, 2015.
