Tom Cruise's Super-Dangerous Stunt at 5,000 feet

I Feel The Need The Need For Speed...If you watched Top Gun, you'll find this a memorable quote.
In the film, Tom Cruise was Pete "Maverick" Mitchell, a United States Naval Aviator Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy.

In real life, Cruise got a pilot licence in 1994, and besides skydiving and scuba diving, he enjoy to piloting his own Pitts Special S-2B stunt plane.

The 52-year old actor will reprise once more the IMF spy Ethan Hunt in the upcoming fifth installment of "Mission: Impossible" movie franchise, and it seems that Cruise will join business with pleasure, as it was recently spotted clinging to the side of an Airbus A400M, dressed nattily in a gray suit. What made this scene so awesome was that he was doing it while soaring 5,000 feet in the air.

Obviously precautionary measures were taken, and while the aircraft flew over rural British airspace he was well-strapped in with two safety harnesses, but still, not diminishing the act and how bold it was.

Before the plane achieved Cruise-ing altitude, the actor had to be strapped in securely.

Cruise is well known for doing tough stunt work, instead of requiring the intervention of a stunt double.
In Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, he dangled from the side of the world's tallest building, Dubai's Burj Khalifa, wearing special gloves that allowed him to cling to the windows.
