Hans Zimmer is the man behind the score of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the Man of Steel's sequel, but the composer faced a dilemma. After creating the score for the Dark Knight Trilogy, he would have to come up with a completely new sound for this new "dawn" of the Batman character. Even for a composer as Zimmer, this would become a big challenge, but fortunately, after revisiting The Dark Knight Trilogy over and over, he found a way of giving the cape crusader a unique score without being directly involved with the one from Nolan's adaptation.
Zimmer decided to team-up with the composer Junkie XL (300: Rise of an Empire and upcoming film, Mad Max: Fury Road), composer that previously had worked with him on The Dark Knight Trilogy and Man of Steel. With XL on board, Zimmer can focus his attention on the Superman sound, and Xl will work on Batman's, with director Zack Snyder on board for the musical team-up that definitely will be beneficial to the 2016 blockbuster.
